The original content that is on DCU is migrating to HBO Max. Truthfully, that’s the best platform for that content. The amount of content you get, not just DC , but generally from WarnerMedia, is huge and it’s the best value proposition, if I’m allowed to use that marketing term. We feel that is the place for that.
As far as DC Universe is concerned, this is the best business decision that could have been made. It sucks for the programmers and engineers making that app, but rolling that content into HBO MAX makes the most sense. That’s where all the future streaming growth is going to happen. Maybe AT&T could give DC Universe subscribers a discounted rate, if only temporarily, to migrate their subs over to HBO. AT&T isn’t known for their intelligent business decisions, but we’ll see.
Please just give me the game I was promised 20 years ago when Fable was still called ‘Project Ego’ and was a Dreamcast exclusive.
